Bregt Lameris is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Zurich, where she is engaged within the project 'ERC Advanced Grant FilmColors: Bridging the Gap Between Technology and Aesthetics'. Other research interests include color in silent cinema, the history of film archiving, film historiography, non-theatrical film, and affect, emotions and subjectivity in film. She has recently completed her first monograph, Film Museum Practice and Film Historiography: The Case of the Nederlands Filmmuseum (1946-2000), which will be published by Amsterdam University Press in March 2017. Ph.D. in Media and Culture Studies (Utrecht University), BA and MA in Cinema and Theatre Studies (Radboud University).
